Trust Informatics was designed to offer companies an "early warning system" for reputation risk. By analyzing publicly available security data, we can help organizations understand how their security stacks up against competitors and industry baselines. This minimizes the risk that researchers, activists, news reports, or even customers are first to identify embarrassing security issues within the organization's network. Founder and Chief Scientist

Dennis Opacki, MSIA CISSP

With over a decade in the information security field, including experience building security metrics programs for Fortune 500 companies, Mr. Opacki takes a cross-disciplinary approach to information security, adapting research and practices in economics, psychology and business theory to business risk management. Mr. Opacki holds a Masters of Science in Information Assurance from Norwich University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in good standing. His recent work includes an invited talk on human factors affecting security metrics, at Metricon 1.0.

Research Scientist

Leigh Metcalf, PhD

A mathematician, specializing in the applications of Algebraic Topology to Dynamical Systems (e.g., Chaos Theory), Dr. Metcalf has over twelve years of industry experience in software engineering, systems operations and information security. Dr. Metcalf holds a Masters of Science and PhD in Mathematics from Auburn University. Most recently, she served as Director of Development for Aptech Systems, Inc., authors of the GAUSS Mathematical and Statistical System(TM).
