Trust Informatics Security Metrics Portal Goes Live

After many long nights of development, testing and general hair pulling, the Trust Informatics portal is ready to exit stealth mode. I want to say a special thank you to our private beta customers, who included a number of heavy-hitters in the information security industry. Your feedback has helped our service become even more valuable to organizations interested in safeguarding their reputation and getting the jump on emerging security issues.

For those new to the service, a short overview is in order. Trust Informatics examines security data from publicly accessibly sources. We use these data to build a network-centric risk profile, which includes leading indicators in seven security-relevant categories: spam, phishing, malware, fraud, hacking, gaming and anonymizers. While many healthy networks experience low-level activity in one or more of these areas from time to time, our advanced analysis techniques highlight patterns that may suggest broader security issues.

Our data are consistent across all organizations connected to the Internet without the installation of hardware or software on customers' networks. This completely passive approach helps our customers see real value immediately without long development lead times or expensive equipment purchases. If you are looking for a security metrics strategy to target limited security resources where they can do the most good, or to demonstrate the effectiveness of your security program to executive management, look no further. Trust Informatics is here.
